An Excuse or a Real Worry for Supply Chain


Due to the recently boiling “prism plan”, Huawei’s exiting from the US market burned again. Since 2012, Huawei began to encounter a series of acquisition obstacles from the US government for the security factor. However, the purpose is really a worry for supply chain or just an excuse?

Huawei, the second largest telecommunications equipment supplier worldwide, failed in several acquisitions of American 3Com and Sprint Nextel. The previously military status of Ren Zhengfei, founder of Huawei, Chinese government’s management of major banks results in the security concerns.

In addition to stopping Huawei entering US telecommunication market, another report from also throw a stone to the security pool.
